Currently, he is a multiplatform editor at the Los Angeles Times. A Northwest native, he produced stories for Oregon's largest newspaper, the Oregonian, for more than a decade. His work has also appeared on Oregon Public Broadcasting and in the Detroit Free Press, Chicago Tribune, Seattle Post-Intelligencer, Bloomberg News, Reno Gazette-Journal, Christianity Today and Christian Science Monitor. He has won awards from the Society of American Business Editors and Writers and the Oregon Newspaper Publishers Association. He graduated from Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism.
